What are the advantages of a Red Box Diamond?
A Red Box Certificate means the diamond was graded by an independent third party certified diamond grader, not your jeweler or the store doing the selling. No one should be able to dispute the authenticity of your diamond.
A Red Box Diamond® grading certificate also gives you the detailed information needed to compare diamonds for cut, clarity, color, and carat weight. This information will help in comparing prices.
Your diamond will have a laser-inscribed serial number on the girdle to easily identify it and to prevent someone from switching it if in for repair. This number matches the certificate number.
Trade Up Program
You can have confidence that the diamond you are purchasing will hold its value over time. Should you wish to upgrade to a larger or better quality Red Box Diamond®, you will be given you full credit of the amount paid towards a new diamond. This is for the diamond only and does not include the amount paid for the mounting.
The Red Box Diamond® Program also includes a full year of insurance, absolutely free. This protection provides you with worldwide coverage against theft, loss or mysterious disappearance. Free coverage of the Red Box Diamond® begins on the postmarked date of the registration form and there is no deductible.
Accurate Grading
Every Red Box Diamond comes with a grading report from an independent lab or our team of GIA and AGS trained experts. Dominic’s Fine Jewelry graded diamonds are graded to GIA standards.
Unique Identifier
For proof positive identification, each Red Box Diamond is laser inscribed with the unique number on its grading report.
Conflict Free
We are committed to selling diamonds ethically and with integrity, giving you confidence in the diamonds you purchase. We believe it is completely unacceptable to tolerate conflict diamonds and/or human suffering in any way and we fully support the Kimberley process. The Kimberley Process ensures that rough diamonds are:
- Exported and imported with a government validated Kimberley Process certificate stating the diamonds are conflict-free.
- Transported between signatory countries in a sealed and tamper-proof container.
- Sold with a statement from the seller (known as a warranty) on all invoices guaranteeing that the diamonds being sold are conflict-free.
- This same warranty appears on all documents for Product Review/Conditional Sale items, and on invoices for the products you purchase from Dominic’s Fine Jewelry.
